The main house and grounds are well maintained and all togeter a very nice place to stay. Accomodation was in a block at the rear of the hotel.
The room though not large was fine, clean, with a comfortable bed but only had a shower rather than a bath. The corridors were looking a bit tired, with worn paint and some stains on the carpets.
Light, airy and full of character.
The staff were all friendly and polite too. I ate one night at the hotel and dating sweden gnesta food was good.
The down side of the hotel was that on 2 of the 3 nights I was staying there the main house was closed, so no meals and no bar.
I presume this was because there were so few guests staying but no one mentioned to me at breakfast that the hotel would be shut. If you wanted a meal you could drive 30 minutes each way to the Gripsholm, the sister hotel in Mariefred.
There were no obvious local resteraunts in Gnesta the small town near the hotel, but even if there had dating sweden gnesta it was still a drive. So if you want to stay in a beautiful location then fantastic, but if you want hotel basics like food and drink then not a good choice.
